There are many things to pay attention to in the production process of impregnated decorative paper, as follows:

Printing Workshop

1、 Safety operating procedures for gravure printing machines

The captain is responsible for supervising the safety of machinery, equipment, and crew members.

2. Before starting work, the operator must wear work clothes and shoes neatly, fasten the collar and cuffs, keep the pockets free of debris that may fall out, and do not wear watches or various accessories.

Before starting up, the required lubricating oil (grease) should be added to each oil filling point, lubrication point, and oil tank of the machine.

4. Without approval, non crew members are not allowed to start or operate the machine without authorization. Assistants and apprentices should work under the guidance of the captain.

5. Before starting the machine, check whether there are any debris in all parts of the body. The signal must be sent back and forth to confirm the safety around the machine before starting.

6. Before the machine runs, count the circumference backwards first, and then the circumference forwards to prevent debris between the rollers from damaging the rubber blanket, printing plate, etc.

7. During machine operation, it is strictly prohibited to touch the moving working surface with hands, repair or wipe the machine, cross rotating parts, and keep the machine's protective devices complete.

8. Crew members should strictly adhere to their positions according to their division of labor, constantly pay attention to the operation of various parts of the machine, and immediately stop the machine for handling any problems found.

9. The workplace should be kept clean and unobstructed, with no debris around the ground, workbench, or machines. Maintenance tools and spare parts should be placed in designated locations.

10. During work, no one is allowed to laugh, play, or make loud noises around the machine.

At the end of work, clean the machine, protect the printing plate, clean the rubber blanket, impression cylinder, and roller pillow, and turn off the power. 12. Regular maintenance and repair of the machine.

2、 Precautions for gravure printing machine

1. Do not insert your hands into the running parts of the machine, especially the clamping rollers, during operation.

2. When checking the machine, the main power switch on the main control cabinet must be turned off.

3. When making operational adjustments during shutdown, the shutdown button should be locked.

4. When conducting electrical inspections, turn off the main power supply.

5. When threading and cleaning on the hot roller in the drying oven, be sure to turn off the heat source first.

6. Before starting up, it should be confirmed that the exhaust of the drying oven and the ventilation of the workshop are normal.

Color mixing workshop

In actual printing, color matching problems are often encountered. Without understanding the properties of ink and basic knowledge of color, it is difficult to achieve the expected effect.

1. Understand the variation law of the addition of the three primary colors of ink, analyze the colors of the primary color draft, and identify the main hue

Use the minimum number of auxiliary color inks to mix, otherwise using too many color types will make the ink color dull and reduce its luster. When mixing ink, be sure to use the same type of ink produced by the same factory. It is best to use ink of the same type of pigment for modulation to avoid chemical reactions or difficulty in affinity.

3. Changes in the addition of the three primary colors: The primary color red contains a small amount of primary yellow, which is bright red. As the yellow phase increases, it gradually becomes golden red, orange red, deep yellow, and medium yellow. Original yellow contains a small amount of original blue, which is grass green. As the blue phase intensifies, it gradually becomes emerald green, bright green, medium green, dark green, and dark green. The original blue contains a small amount of original red, which is medium blue. As the red phase increases, it gradually becomes deep blue, ultramarine, blue lotus blue, and purple. Adding a small amount of original blue to the original red results in deep red, and increasing the blue phase leads to purple. The deepest red is purple, and the deepest blue is also purple.

4. White ink, gray ink, and black ink have no hue, only saturation. Adding white ink to any color ink will increase its luster, make it shiny, and decrease its color. If black ink is added, it will cause a decrease in the gloss and color of the ink.
